Matthew Suder, of Langhorne, PA, won a Second Place Award at Delaware Valley University's Juried Student Photography Exhibition Opening for a photo entitled, "How She Makes Me Smile."

Three students were awarded prizes at the opening of Delaware Valley University's First Annual Juried Student Photography Exhibition. The University awarded first, second and third prizes at the event on Thursday, April 5. The display will be available to view on the second floor of the atrium in the University's Life Sciences Building through June 25.

"The photography show is part of a greater effort to include more art on campus," said Douglas McCambridge, a DelVal media and communication instructor. "Our students are producing high-quality work in our photography classes, and we're pleased to be able to share this work with an annual event that will enrich the local community."

Henry Rowan, an award-winning Bucks County-based photographer and executive director of the Pennsylvania Center for Photography and Kimberly Witham, an associate professor at Bucks County Community College, served as judges for the competition.
