Delaware Valley University and Bucks County Foodshed Alliance to Host Renowned Writer and Biologist Anne Bikle
Bikle will lead a discussion around the topics covered in her book "What Your Food Ate: How to Heal Our Land and Reclaim Our Health."
Doylestown, PA (03/16/2026) — Delaware Valley University, the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance and DelVal's One Health chapter are excited to announce What Your Food Ate & Why It Matters, a guest presentation featuring Anne Bikle. Bikle will lead a discussion exploring how soil health and animal diets directly affect human health, drawing from her book "What Your Food Ate: How to Heal Our Land and Reclaim Our Health."
Three panelist will join Bikle:
- Dr. Debbie Bernstein, MD
- Tom Murtha, farmer at Blooming Glen Farm
- Sean Ryan of Tussock Sedge Farm
Part of DelVal's One Health Seminar series, What Your Food Ate & Why It Matters will be held Thursday, April 9 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Life Sciences Building Auditorium.
This is a ticketed event and tickets are on sale now. Early-bird pricing is $15 and regular tickets are $20. Students from Delaware Valley University and Bucks County Community College may secure their ticket free of charge using their student email at checkout.
Tickets include admission to the reception featuring appetizers by local chefs, local organizations and book signing with Bikle.
