Delaware Valley University Introduces New Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs
Doylestown, PA (06/06/2022) — Delaware Valley University (DelVal) is pleased to share that Joseph (Joe) Fiochetta will join DelVal on July 1, 2022 as Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs. Fiochetta brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education and nonprofit management with expertise in organizational leadership, data-driven decision-making, fundraising, strategic planning, volunteer and staff development, marketing and campaign planning and execution.
Fiochetta has been serving as Vice President for Advancement at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA since 2019. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of alumni relations, fundraising, university brand and marketing, and strategic communications.
Previously, Fiochetta served as Executive Director, Membership and Marketing for the Penn State Alumni Association. He is the founder and principal of New Hope Communications, which helps nonprofits, their leadership, and staff on all aspects of strategic governance, constituent engagement, philanthropic support, and marketing communications. Fiochetta also held leadership positions with Harte-Hanks and CDR Fundraising Group.
