Media Alert: Perdue Farms Presents $100,000 Gift to Support New Poultry Science Center at DelVal

Doylestown, PA (01/20/2026) — Perdue Farms and the Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation will present a $100,000 gift to Delaware Valley University in support of the construction of a new Poultry Science Center on the University's main campus tomorrow, January 21, 2026, at 12 p.m. The presentation will take place at the planned site for the new center, adjacent to the Equestrian Center.

Attendees will include representatives from Perdue Farms and the Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation, Dr. Benjamin E. Rusiloski, president, Delaware Valley University, and Dr. Broc Sandelin, dean of agriculture and environmental sciences, Delaware Valley University.

The gift supports the development of a state-of-the-art Poultry Science Center that will provide hands-on learning opportunities for students and serve as the foundation for a new Poultry Science academic program at Delaware Valley University. The project addresses growing workforce needs in the poultry industry and reflects Perdue's commitment to education, workforce development and community investment.
