by Laura Perry

Doylestown, PA (10/07/2020) — Delaware Valley University's One Health Seminar Series is hosting a lecture by Scott McArt on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 pm. The lecture, "Pesticides, pathogens, and pollinator declines: What we know and what YOU can do," will be available to the public at no cost through Zoom. In this lecture, McArt will provide information on the current scope of pollinator declines and the stressors associated with those declines. A major point in this talk will be going over what the general public can do to help combat this decline.

McArt is an assistant professor in pollinator health at Cornell University, where he helps run the Dyce Lab for Honey Bee Studies. He is particularly interested in scientific research that can inform management decisions by beekeepers, growers, regulatory agencies, and the public.

All are invited to attend. People attending are required to sign up in advance but there is no cost to register. Click here to sign up to attend the lecture.
