Date Change: Take Back the Night at Delaware Valley University

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Take Back the Night will take place on Tuesday, April 28.

Doylestown, PA (04/22/2026) — Delaware Valley University will host Take Back the Night on Tuesday, April 28, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center Courtyard. The event is held in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Take Back the Night is a global movement aimed at raising awareness of all forms of sexual violence, including assault, abuse, trafficking, stalking, relationship violence and more. The event will provide a space for survivors and supporters to share stories and come together as a community to show support. The Network of Victim Assistance will also be in attendance with speakers and information about local and national resources available to survivors.

"This event is an important opportunity to raise awareness, stand in solidarity with survivors and reaffirm our commitment to prevention, education and compassionate care," said Karolina Dreher, dean of students. "We hope it encourages meaningful dialogue and reminds survivors in our community that they are not alone."

Note, this event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 29. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center Courtyard at Delaware Valley University. It is free to attend and open to the public.
