Delaware Valley University and Gritty Announce New Partnership and Launch Non-Credit Medical Sales Leadership Certificate

Applications are now open for the Janaury 2026 cohort

Doylestown, PA (12/04/2025) — Delaware Valley University (DelVal) and Gritty are proud to announce a new partnership that brings together industry-driven professional training and the academic excellence of a nationally recognized institution. Through this collaboration, the two organizations are launching a new non-credit certificate in medical sales leadership.

The Medical Sales Leadership Certificate equips learners with the practical skills, industry exposure and career readiness needed to break into competitive medical device and pharmaceutical sales roles. The program will incorporate live, remote instruction, hands-on sales simulations, in-depth product training and access to Gritty's premium, video-first recruitment and learning platform to gain knowledge and confidence in:

  • Industry acumen: Evaluating career pathways, expectations and opportunities within the medical sales industry to inform strategic career decision-making
  • Professional selling: Pre-call planning, sales cycles and the CIRCL Selling Model
  • Objection handling with curiosity: Leveraging the DEAL framework to overcome sales obstacles
  • Career readiness: Resume customization, interview preparation, network coaching and job search strategies

Ideal for undergraduates, early-career professionals, aspiring sales professionals and career changers seeking to enter or advance within medical sales, participants will earn a non-credit certificate and a digital badge upon completion, demonstrating their readiness to compete in the field.

The collaboration between DelVal and Gritty represents a new model for industry-aligned professional learning to academic pathways, including potential opportunities to articulate non-credit credentials toward graduate-level study.
