Delaware Valley University Named Among "Best in Region" by Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report

Doylestown, PA (10/14/2024) — Delaware Valley University was once again recognized as one of the top colleges in the region by The Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report.

In The Princeton Review's "2025 Best Colleges: Region by Region," DelVal is one of 631 colleges recognized and one of just 97 colleges mentioned in its region, the Mid-Atlantic. This marks the 15th consecutive year that DelVal has been selected for the list. Schools that make this list are considered by The Princeton Review to be "academically outstanding and well worth consideration during a college search."

The Princeton Review, an education services company that has served students and their families for over 40 years, collects and utilizes feedback from students at each college or university to help guide prospective students in their college search. Their regional lists are divided into seven zones - the Northeast, South, Southwest, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, West, and International. The honored schools are listed alphabetically by region, not ranked in order.

DelVal was also named to the Best Regional Universities North list in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings of colleges and universities. The University was also highlighted in the "Top Performers for Social Mobility" list, which recognizes schools that are more successful than others at enrolling and graduating students who are awarded Pell Grants.

U.S. News & World Report defines regional universities as those that offer a full range of undergraduate programs and some master's programs but few doctoral programs. DelVal currently offers 28 undergraduate degrees, 11 master's degrees, and a doctorate in education.

"It is exciting to be recognized once again for the outstanding hands-on experience DelVal provides," said Gloria Oikelome, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs. "This accolade demonstrates the quality of our faculty and staff and our commitment to providing experiential education that prepares students for the job market and graduate school."
