DelVal Coaches Earn MAC Award
Soccer coaches Shaq Stephenson and Sean Touey were named MAC Freedom Coaching Staff of the Year
Doylestown, PA (11/19/2025) — Delaware Valley University's men's soccer team broke program records this season earning players and coaches recognition from the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC).
Head coach Shaq Stephenson has led the Aggies for the past three seasons. From his first season at DelVal, Stephenson has coached the team to new program milestones. His inaugural season resulted in three wins and four ties, the most ties in program history. During his second season, the team broke .500 for the first time since 1998, and the second time in program history with a record of 9-8-1. This season, his third with DelVal, Stephenson guided the team to a 10-5-3 record, the best in program history.
Stephenson and assistant coach Sean Touey were named MAC Freedom Coaching Staff of the Year. In addition, three players were recognized with All-Conference honors for their outstanding performance on the field this season.
Gianluca D'Alterio '28 and Roy Hevener '28 earned Second Team All-MAC Freedom honors, and Nick Becker '28 was named an All-MAC Honorable Mention after earning three MAC Defensive Player of the Week awards during this season.
