DelVal to Host Panel on Local Climate Action Planning in Doylestown Borough
Moderator Dennis Livrone will lead the panel comprised of Doylestown Borough and Bucks County officials
Doylestown, PA (04/13/2026) — Delaware Valley University's One Health will host an upcoming panel discussion, Local Climate Action Planning in Doylestown Borough, on Wednesday, April 22 at 6 p.m. in the Life Sciences Building Auditorium.
Moderated by Doylestown Borough Councilman Dennis Livrone, the panel will include:
- James Lannon, chair of the Doylestown Borough Planning Commission
- Grant Alger, chair of the Doylestown Borough Environmental Advisory Council
- Karyn Hyland, director of planning and zoning for Doylestown Borough
- Grant Rowe, sustainability coordinator for Doylestown Borough
- Michael Roedig, executive director of the Bucks County Planning Commission.
Panelists will discuss the collaborative planning process that led to the development of Doylestown Borough's comprehensive plan and the Doylestown Borough Climate Action Plan (DCAP). The conversation will highlight how these plans complement one another and outline how borough staff are working to implement the DCAP's recommendations, prodiving insight into the practical steps other local communities can take to develop and implement their own climate action plans.
