Third Session of Medical Sales Leadership Certificate Begins April 12

The program prepares students to enter a competitive field by building knowledge and confidence through hands-on training with industry professionals.

Doylestown, PA (04/07/2026) — Delaware Valley University is equipping students with the tools to break into the medical sales field through its partnership with Gritty. The Medical Sales Leadership Certificate program provides hands-on training with industry professionals to prepare students for in-demand careers.

For Gabby Schuster, current DelVal MBA student and one of the first students to enroll in the new program, the program represents a natural extension of a disciplined, high-performance mindset.

"I've always been drawn to high-performance, goal-oriented environments where discipline and consistency matter," said Schuster. "That mindset naturally led me to medical sales, where results, resilience and accountability are key. With my background in business and my interest in healthcare, I saw this certificate as an opportunity to intentionally prepare myself for a competitive field and build both the knowledge and confidence to succeed."

The Gritty platform complements DelVal's academic foundation by emphasizing real-world application. Through mock interview competitions and sales role play exercises, students actively practice the skills needed and gain direct exposure to the expectations of the medical sales industry.

"One of the most valuable parts was the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals who were brought in to share their experience," said Schuster. "This program has helped bridge the gap between education and actually breaking into the industry. It is practical, relevant and has made me feel much more prepared."

Graduates of the program are well-positioned to pursue roles in medical sales, equipped with the confidence, experience and industry insight needed to succeed in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.
